The Femmes — First Edition is a seven-day, six-night women-focused cycling camp in Benicàssim, Spain, from 18 to 24 October 2026. Limited to eight riders, it is for women who want to improve their riding through a structured camp while still enjoying the Mediterranean setting and a supportive small-group atmosphere.

The week includes five guided ride days with supported route choices for different pace levels, daily briefings, on-ride nutrition, and a support vehicle. Riding is combined with coaching and education: a former female professional cyclist leads the camp, Sports Science support begins with a personalised eight-week pre-arrival plan and bike-position check, and evening sessions cover climbing, descending, race-day kit, fuelling, recovery, mobility, and nutrition. One recovery massage, a camp jersey, GPS files, professional photos and video, and a take-home Field Notes training resource are included. Guests stay at Casa Pedal & Pause, with breakfasts and dinners provided, including one sommelier dinner. Guests bring their own bike or arrange a rental add-on.

The Camp Week, Day by Day

  1. Arrival, Position Check and Welcome

Arrive at Casa Pedal & Pause and settle into the camp. The coaching team completes a bike-position check, introduces the support crew, and explains how the pace groups and route choices work. The day closes with the camp briefing and a welcome dinner, setting a supportive tone for the week ahead.

  2. Coastal Warm-up

Open the riding programme on quiet coastal roads with supported route choices of approximately 40, 55, or 70 kilometres. The focus is on settling into the group, checking equipment, and finding the right pace rather than chasing numbers on the first day. A support vehicle, hydration, nutrition, and the daily ride briefing are included.

  3. Rolling Hills

Move inland for a rolling route through Castellón’s quieter roads. Riders choose approximately 60, 80, or 95 kilometres, with the published climbing ranging from around 700 to 1,100 metres. The different options allow each pace group to work at an appropriate level while sharing the same landscapes and supported camp experience.

  4. Skills and Technique

A practical riding day combines a shorter route with focused work on bike handling, positioning, climbing, and descending. Supported route options span approximately 50 to 90 kilometres, with the final middle-distance option still to be confirmed. Coaching continues off the bike through the camp’s practical Pro Sessions and individual feedback.

  5. Queen Stage

Take on the camp’s principal endurance day with route choices of approximately 80, 100, or 120 kilometres and 1,200 to 1,800 metres of climbing. The support vehicle, planned nutrition, and multiple pace groups allow riders to challenge themselves without being left alone. The emphasis is on applying the week’s skills over a sustained mountain route.

  6. Coastal Recovery and Sommelier Dinner

Return to the coast for a gentler recovery ride of approximately 35 or 50 kilometres. The easier terrain gives the group space to absorb the week’s work before the camp’s special sommelier dinner. It is a final evening to celebrate progress, share feedback, and enjoy the food and wine of the Mediterranean coast.

  7. Breakfast and Departure

The camp concludes with breakfast, check-out, and departure support. Riders leave with professional photos and video, GPS files, session summaries, and The Femmes Field Notes—a practical resource designed to carry the week’s training, skills, and lessons into future riding.
