Forget the crowded roads of Calpe and the queues of Mallorca. Three days in Benicàssim means real climbs, empty roads, and a Mediterranean village that hasn't been reshaped for tourists — with a British-Spanish cycling family looking after you, on and off the bike.

You're based at Casa Pedal & Pause, our boutique villa at the entrance to the Desierto de las Palmas natural park: private gardens, a pool with panoramic views over Benicàssim and out to the Mediterranean, and the kind of quiet that makes the riding hit harder. We live here too — separate quarters, so you get the run of the place without ever feeling like you're staying with strangers.

Each day, you ride. How much or how little is up to you — this is the doorstep of some of the Valencian Community's best climbing: the Desierto de las Palmas itself (a category-two climb through protected parkland, past the ruins of a Carmelite monastery, on the route of La Vuelta 2026's Stage 6), the Alto del Bartolo (the highest point in the park at 729m, with a sting of gravel near the summit), or the quiet inland roads of the Sierra de Espadan for longer days in the saddle. Choose assisted, and one of us rides with you — pointing out the best fountains, the hidden corners, the places worth stopping. Choose self-guided, and we load the route straight onto your Garmin and let you find your own rhythm.

Ride finished, the rest of the day is yours: the pool, the garden, a yoga stretch, or just a chair in the shade with a view of the sea.
